It's no secret I love trying new recipes, especially healthy ones. Here's an easy recipe... for your plants! Egg shells contain calcium which acts an an incredible, natural fertilizer for your plants- indoors and out. For outdoor plants, you can grind dry eggshells and sprinkle in the dirt around the roots. Another way to get the minerals deeper in the soil is to mix the eggshells with water and water to water the plants.

Instructions:

Rinse eggshells (I keep my eggshells in the carton in the fridge, until I've used every egg)

Place in jar

Boil a pot of water and pour over eggshells until they are covered

Let the eggshells soak until the water is cool (a couple of hours)
