Favorite Grill Recipes

Summer is officially here and I just got a new Traeger for my birthday so I've been doing a lot of cooking outside! There's just nothing like having my toes in the grass while I flip over the steaks. With Father's Day coming up + it being the start of summer, I thought I'd round up some of our favorite recipes, straight off the grill.

First on the list (and my favorite), Shish Kabobs!

Ingredients:

Meat (I used steak and chicken)

Veggies (Peppers, Onions, Squash, Zucchini, and Mushrooms are all great for grilling!)

*Shrimp

Salt & Pepper or seasoning of choice

*Shrimp need their own skewer because they do not cook as long as chicken or steak

Instructions:

If using wooden skewers, soak in water for about 10 minutes so they do not burn.

Fill skewers with meat and veggies.

Place on the grill, flipping once, until cooked through. Approx. 15 minutes.

Remove meat and veggies and enjoy it with a side dish OR serve as a stir fry over a bed of rice o noodles.

Grilled Corn with Garlic Butter Sauce:

Place corn on grill with meat or skewers for approx. 20 minutes, flipping once.

Sauce:

While corn is grilling, prepare the garlic butter sauce.

1/4c Butter or Ghee, melted

1tsp Garlic, minced

Salt the corn, then drizzle sauce over top, enjoy!

Another favorite of ours is Salmon.

Ingredients:

Wild Caught Salmon (I've noticed most grocery stores state "color added" to salmon- gross! Read your labels, always.)

Seasoning of choice (I use Spiceology. The Seafood seasoning or Lemon Pepper are my go-to's)

Instructions:

Grill skin side down until cooked half way through (time depends on thickness of the fish)

Flip once and finish grilling skin side up. Salmon is done when the layers flake apart easily.

I served this with Skillet Parmesan Squash and Zucchini Spears

Instructions:

Cut vegetables into spears. Season with salt & red pepper flakes and cook over medium heat until done, rotating on all sides. Top with shredded Parmesan and enjoy!

My man's favorite, wings!

Ingredients:

Organic Chicken Wings

Seasoning of choice (I used lemon pepper)

Sauce for dipping

Instructions:

Season wings and place on grill for approx. 20 minutes, flipping halfway through

I paired this with Garlic Cauliflower and a salad and finished it off with grilled pineapple!

Instructions:

For the cauliflower, coat the whole head with salt, pepper, butter and garlic (powdered or minced) and grill for approx. 30 minutes or until soft. Break apart and top with shredded Parmesan cheese.
