Simple Fruit Salad

Writer's picture: Jessica ChappellJessica Chappell

What I love about fruit salad is you can eat it for breakfast, snack or dessert! I made this over Memorial Day weekend and chose red, white, and blue fruits but I have a feeling this recipe will be a summer staple. It's completely customizable to your liking and a great way to get your kids to eat the fruits + get in some probiotics and protein!

Ingredients:

3c Fruit (any fruit will do! I used pears and berries)

4oz Yogurt (I used Ziggi's Skyr)

Juice from 1/2 a lime

1tbsp Honey (optional)

Granola (optional)

Instructions:

Wash (in 1 part white vinegar : 4 parts water), rinse, and chop all fruit.

Add fruit to serving bowl, squeeze juice from lime, and drizzle honey on top. Gently stir in yogurt until mixed well and top with granola if desired. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Store extra fruit or fruit salad in jars to enjoy throughout the week! An easy snack on the go.
